Meet Jake Helsing, the host of the show Monster Safari. Today he’s on the hunt for one of the most popular but elusive creatures in the world… the vampire. This nature show parody follows Action Jake as he takes his audience on an exciting journey through the wilderness in search of some of the lesser known members of the vampire family. We begin in the vermin-infested swamplands that are home to the timid German Nosferatu, the smelly beast of nightmares, where Action Jake is able to lure out the creature for a closer look using the proper bait. Then it’s onto the deep woods to track a classic strigoi who was previously fitted with a tracking device to study its migration patterns. The hunt ends in tragedy, as Action Jake stumbles across the remains of the creature who was staked and relieved of his fangs. Angered by the thought of poachers, Action Jake tracks down the hunter’s truck and finds what appears to be the strigoi’s mate caged in the back. But alas, the captive is nothing but a common Goth. On the lookout for an extremely rare variety of vampire with a skilled poacher operating in the area, Jake must move fast before this episode ends in another terrible tragedy. |
