Life can be divided into five general stages: sex, birth, life, disease and death. These stages can effectively be applied to everything else in life as well, for example relationships. Featuring Mercedes Cabral (Thirst), ‘Sakit’ (Disease) is a piece in a series of five short films, each exploring one of these five stages of relationships. This series of short films tell one love story through five couples in five different cities in the world in order to emphasize that this is a universal phenomenon. |
