At first, we set out to make a film that explored the vast, ever-shifting relationship between the natural world and today’s growing industrial landscape. Drawing influence from filmmakers Andrei Tarkovsky and Jim Jarmusch, the environment surrounding the three characters in this film speaks as its own character in many respects. While capturing these landscapes, we also wanted to explore the drifting, wandering voyage of three young men as they venture through these drastically differing settings. Not following a typical plot arc or narrative structure, the job of the trio to deliver a package serves simply as a means for these individuals to quietly connect with one another and the unfamiliar territory around them. |
