No two words make you pause, both your heart and what you’re doing, like ‘Amber Alert’. Whether you’re a parent or not, no one wants to hear of a missing child or of a child being harmed. We stop, we listen, we wonder; Where is this child, how did this happened, and who would do such a thing? This film explores just how quickly and unfortunately easy it is for a child to be abducted. It focuses on the routine of an unsuspecting mother and her anguish in the immediate aftermath of a situation so heart breaking and cruel. Within minutes you will be engaged as the film answers all questions: Who? What? Where? When? …but really, why? This is up for debate as each viewer will be able to form a theory all their own. |
