After responding to a recruitment ad, Riri and Nono are hired as stable lads. After a while, they surprise a conversation revealing to them that their chief rigs the races. They do their utmost to thwart the scam but not only do they fail but they are kicked out of their job as well. In desperation they attempt to commit suicide by gassing. Fortunately for them, the cork of a bottle of sparkling wine pops only seconds before they lose consciousness, making a hole in the ceiling and making them discover the banknotes piled up by the chief stable lad. |
