FALLOUT is the story of a young couple, Dawn and Jude, who face unimaginable obstacles. The United States is about to experience an imminent nuclear disaster. While Jude grapples with the external crisis of impending doom, Dawn must come to terms with an internal crisis of her own. Because of Jude’s apparent anxiety, Dawn feels she must carry her secret alone as they make their way to a fallout shelter in an attempt to save themselves. FALLOUT is a film that reverses the modern conventions of gender roles in Hollywood cinema, and champions the strength of women and femininity. The people Dawn and Jude encounter and the night they spend together reveal the power of love and resilience in the face of destruction. |
