I was very entertained for 10 episodes!

Absolutely amazing ! The best horror stories are the ones that really happened, the fact that many can relate to this is truly terrifying.

So I generally don’t watch shows that would personally upset me (like keep my anger in check), I purposely didn’t read any reviews because I like to be surprised. By 2nd ep, I did what I normally do when certain subjects are revealed. I went right to the last episode to see half of it & to decided if I wanted to the know the rest. So I can bare it. This was quite interesting. I like to see how perceive different things and yes some parts I closed my eyes but I wouldn’t mind a part 2. 4/5

Great opener, well acted & fantastically & at times brutally shot. Well developed storyline & not for faint of heart. The worst thing is probably the “Al Jolson” character that wil tempt alot of white boys to do blackface next Halloween…

The horror is nonsensical and the history is ridiculous. It has its moments but it goes from kind of exciting to absolutely boring over and over and it blatantly rips off so many other stories/films/shows that it becomes a rollercoaster that you want a refund for to spend on the bumper cars. If you start it, you will probably want to finish it but will probably regret the whole experience afterward. And I think that whether black or white, this is offensive.

Weird, tangential, unfocused and disturbed. I don’t get the hype. Not really scary so much as gory with a ton of racism. It’s a bunch of delusions strung together like in Kafka, but not entertaining.

Odie 2 points 4 years ago.

the last paragraph summed it up lo. I know what a series and mini series is, just sometimes such as blumhouse has done, each week may be a different episode of a series kind of like creepshow. just wondering for next episode cus did not care much for this one. so guess I will have to be patient till net year ahhhh. lol thanks for informative deets!

when is the nest season?….is it like AHS, where you have to wait several month to a year for the next season episodes, or is it weekly series new episodes?…anticipating the other stories!

The infamous “Cat in the bag” episode was too disturbing for me, and it still baffles me that they decided to show the scene as graphically as they did. It was a two minutes scene and felt like a lifetime. I think they have decided to edit this episode because I realized they changed the rating from 18 to 16. I can say that the show is well done but I can’t say that I would recommend to watch it. I could live without it.
