Livy! Hi hi hi!
Watched the first episode. Really disturbing stuff and probably not the way you think either!
Also Kaitlyn Dever has become one of our finest actresses
pretty much my thoughts too.
Exactly
Agreed. Some were what I’d call weak. All in all I did enjoy the “who is the real monster?” concept that seemed to be prominent in all the eps.
It takes alot for me to write a negative review on somthing and this was that bad and more. I don’t know if my expectasions were just to high for it but I understand that the showrunner was trying to portray humans as the monsters and the real threat, in the same way as the walking dead set out to do. It seemed that it was trying way to hard with some aspects of the story being so forced upon you as to not even make sense. After the first episode I was exited and ready to dig in and get my binge on but that turnrd out to be a red herring. Since this is an anthology and the order dosn’t matter all that much, I would recommend watching episode 3 or 4 first to see what you have in store for yourself and if its worty of your time. I did manage to sit through all of it, only cause of a lack of other programs to watch and because I was playing Xbox at the same time
*edited to mark for spoilers, just cause.
Thanks for the honest review Jhigh03… will take your advice ;) Cheers!
The endings up to ep3 are crap to me and make zero sense.
I’m up to ep.5. It gets deeply metaphoric and can be uncomfortable to watch at times. But, that’s the appeal to me. I personally think it’s brilliant! Love it!
Weird, disturbing, freaky. I like it! However, so far I did not like the 2nd episode. Dude got on my nerves crying and whining…
He is pretty much the typical online whiner though. Playing tough online and big tough guys in their heads but little bitches in real life.
He had it pretty rough though. I’m sure not a lot of kids his age would go through all that and look like winners. They’d probably say they would, online though.
Yeah, ep2 was just annoying. That guy’s face with the constant grimace was too much, I can’t believe I sat through it.
First episode is a bit of a mix bag. The main story is interesting but it feels like they hammered in some supernatural stuff in it just to make it attractive to the sensation chasers, with no real link to the actual story.
There are two main writers on the show though and the episodes written by the other writer are much better.
