“Of Them All” is a modern-day dark exploration of the growing social issue of male narcissism. In a world obsessed with youth, perfection, and image, fueled by an online universe littered with selfies of bulging biceps, pouted lips, and rippling six-pack abs, teenage competitive diver and med-school scholar Zaine Xavier has a perpetually growing problem. Being the best in everything including the looks department is getting harder every year and to him, it does not help that he is turning twenty. Nor does it help that his new younger stepbrother seems to be undermining his golden boy status. To Zaine, there is only one solution: take out the competition by whatever means necessary. In a world obsessed with what can be seen, keeping up to be the fairest of them all can be murder. |
