In an anonymous Soviet industrial city, a high-ranking apparatchik finds himself unwittingly setting off mushroom cloud explosions by pressing random buttons. This occurs even as he is carrying on an affair with his mistress! In the process, the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, a group of Yerevan-Theater-Square-based protestors, the Latvian capital Riga, the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, and the Georgian capital Tbilisi are all destroyed. |
