After a close encounter with a barking dog, a small creature named Chuck seeks comfort and safety from the dangerous outside world by shutting himself off inside a vacant house he discovers. At first he comes to enjoy everything his new domicile has to offer, but he soon finds himself alone and trapped in an increasingly shallow rut. Ultimately, he has to make a choice between a life that is not safe or a level of safety that cannot be called truly living. |
