Juliette has a secret. She is the wife of Seth, a wealthy rare books dealer who demands all of the objects in his life to be in order, beautiful, and perfect- including Juliette. Juliette is beautiful, demure, impeccably dressed and always has her hair in a perfect chignon. This pleases her husband very much. But when Seth discovers Juliette making 14 trips to the hair salon a month, he becomes concerned about more than just the credit card bill. It is soon revealed that their marriage is not ‘perfect’. Juliette, confronted by the lies, deceptions, and disappointments of her life, finds a new inner strength as her world unravels.
