Low budget but neat. A lot of the cast members are instantly recognizable even if you don’t recognize their names in the credits. For something made in `02 (Nokia flip phones!), it very much feels like something from the 80s. And I mean that in an endearing way—horror fans will know what I mean.
Not too bad.
I see haunting of hill house had a TV remake also,2018 Netflix series..may check that out..but original of this film was for theatre and just 1 film but almost exact same characters
Yeah The Haunting of Hill House Netflix series was great, especially Season 1. I didn’t think Season 2 The Haunting of Bly Manor was near as good but still good.
King finally gets his due on the screen
There are so many of King’s books that didn’t go over well as movies. And this one, which was never even a book, did really well. If you have a Friday night and a lot of popcorn to kill, this is a decent one to settle down with. A lot of the actors are unknown, but pull this off well. I like how it’s not just a group of people going to spend the night in a haunted house and win money and fame shtick. (i.e. the new House on Haunted Hill) I also liked how all the people who went had a unique specialty in the paranormal/supernatural. Also, it has the regular blend of characters you love to hate, ones who are suspicious, and the adorable ones that you hope don’t make the mistake of investigating unknown noises in the middle of the night alone.
Another masterpiece from Stephen King
Anyone can add a link to episode 2? Last one remaining has been deleted. Thanks
I found a source. May want to re-add for others.
Well speed711 yes, it’s made for tv..so right away the TRUE horror it could be was lost for 13 year olds to be able to watch it on regular free TV network..plenty of cuts for Commercial to be thrown in.. I did like the story..there’s ANOTHER MOVIE a,most making this version the REMAKE. I THINK ITS BACK AND WHITE,AND SIMILAR TO HILL HOUSE MOVIES..but beer may mudd,Mudd, me here.. I just know ive seen it 2 ways.one newer in color.
I’d enjoy watching it again..wish it did have better budget for fx etc but it’s a good film for a day binge or sleepover watch party..
Yeah I was watching Creep Show and a girl I know said she was watching this. I can’t recall if I ever watched Rose Red so I added it to my list. I notice the resolution is 4:3 so this may be a little painful.
Think movie I’m thinking of is another version of hau ting of hill house k own simply as the haunting..https://www.primewire.tf/movie/387822-the-haunting
