Another fantastic adaptation of a Stephen King great supernatural thriller!

The Dead Zone was originally adapted for a movie in 1983, starring the incomparable Christopher Walken.

Here, Anthony Michael Hall steps into the role and takes us in a new edgier and thrilling direction, unraveling the mysteries of the mind.

I dont know why I put myself through that , maybe just a glutton for punishment . I loved this when it came out but watching it all now the acting is some of the worst I have even seen , it is laughably bad and the ending to the entire show WTF ???

I’m hoping you have seen the movie.

i was watching this pretty happily til i got to 1x11 ‘dinner with dana’ to which the only response i could come up with was WTF!? what did i just watch!? what was that direction? how am i supposed to interpret any of these characters after the main dude doesn’t flinch whilst dana’s blatantly panicking whimpering and regressing in front of him because she seems to be locked in a room with him? why doesnt he open the door?? why is she expositioning that way WHY DOES HE OUTSTRETCH HIS ARMS INSTEAD OF LETTING HER OUT why does she run into his arms so abruptly whyyyy…i felt so bizarre after that. idk if i’ll come back to this show.

The end credit music always catches me off guard…if it isn’t the theme from The Mandalorian, it’s damn close. Maybe by the same composer, or a different rendering of the same piece?
