Misty Lerner, bowling alley lounger singer and aspiring ingénue, arrives at Carlucci’s Beverly Hills Salon, and immediately stumbles into a thick brew of trouble. Sensatia, quite possibly the biggest singing phenom since Michael Jackson, storms out of the salon through a cloud of paparazzi after a terrible mishap involving Phyllis Millstein’s dog, Miss Cleopatra, and two slices of raw meat. Phyllis had planned to cast Sensatia in the lead role of her husband’s next blockbuster film, “Extensions”, the sequel to “Hair”. Salon owner and Star-Maker Renato Carlucci must now save his salon and his reputation from the poisonous diva who could destroy both of them with one word to the press, by creating a new star; ultimately transforming rag-tag Misty Lerner into sexy new starlit Misty Blue!
