Set in the not-too-distant future, Reset tells the story of Ollie, who is spiralling into depression after the death of his wife, Catherine. Barely coping, Ollie loses his job and his prospects are grim: he is blacklisted as an employee and has lost his government benefits, all because he has refused to undergo the government-subsidized treatment program, Reset. Reset takes away the pain by removing the memories, but the joy of those memories is lost along with the anguish. Faced with the prospect of no job and no money, Ollie must decide whether he can fight his own way out of depression, or undergo Reset to forever and completely erase the greatest love and loss of his life.
