The film is about hope and resilience amidst challenges.The short film ‘Chistie’ is a story of a visionary woman who endured a tremendous amount of personal challenges when dealing with HIV/AIDS in the beginning of the epidemics over 20 years ago. Her idea of family support and fight against stigma created an innovative model that inspired the foundation of a place in San Diego that helps family and friends affected by AIDS. |
