These two films were shot in the summer of 1969 for a series of the One Arm Bandit stories. It’s classic comedy with two extraordinary actors and Chevy Chase in a small cameo. Crash Pad was filmed in Brooklyn and One Arm Bandit on Washington St. NYC, where Tribeca now squats. The One Arm Bandit Played at the Elgin Theater in Chelsea in 1971. A distributor lost the original shortly thereafter and this version was re-created using original with print copies optically filmed to 35mm, in 2000. Crash Pad was also finished from the original 16mm shoot and printed to 35mm in 2000. |
