9 months ago I purchased a one-way ticket to a place I had never been to before…California. I packed my bags, sold almost all of my belongings, said goodbye to my friends and family in Miami, and set off on my journey into the unknown… The first installment in the ‘Born Free’ travel series, ‘Born Free: California’ is the culmination of over 9 months of shooting in numerous places throughout California. Locations include Santa Monica & Venice Beach, Joshua Tree National Park, Pacific Coast Highway, San Francisco, Van Nuys, and Los Angeles. The overall message of Born Free: California is to inspire exploration and travel in those who watch, to better learn about the world in which they live in.
