Prakash, a rich orphan, has been brought up by his family servant Gopal kaka. Prakash falls in love with Archana and they get married. They are living a happy life until one day Archana dies after giving birth to their son Rajesh. Prakash holds Rajesh responsible for Archana’s death and does not want to see him at all, so he keeps him away with his brother in law Babloo. After five years, Prakash finds solace in the company of Sandhya, daughter of his employer, and soon they decide to marry. But Sandhya does not want to accept Rajesh as her son, which makes Prakash to drop Rajesh to an orphanage. Gopal Kaka gets agitated and strongly denounces his action. Prakash realizes his mistake and brings back Rajesh. Sandhya also accepts Rajesh as her son. Prakash and Sandhya gets married.
