Lt. Gray Crawford and his Deputy Lt. ‘Dink’ DInkins are on routine nuclear missile duty when all hell breaks loose and World War III looms. A maintenance crew faces certain death if their missile launches before they can escaper. Sudden power loss convinces the crew that incoming nuclear warheads have isolated them in the capsule. Unless cooling air can be reestablished the miles of cable in the capsule will cause it to melt in four minutes - they have only 5 minutes until Launch - and Gray’s biggest challenge is his Deputy. |
