La Diva wants to explore the rarefied atmosphere of the last twenty years of the noir of the Asian art house, mixing the over-saturated archetypes of the graphic novels, representing the trip of a contemporary dark heroin, willing to do anything to reach success. Still, The Director’s influences form an union between the violent oriental theme and the grotesque Italian surrealism of Fellini, Ferreri and Petri. The goal is to present a small film that shows the theme of remorse in a dreamlike key, without, nevertheless, abandoning the structural narrative belonging to the psychological thriller. |
