A broken down, once famed, retired television superhero continues to mourn the passing of his one true love Diane. Living alone in a low rent apartment building where he meets his equally troubled neighbor Sarah, Edward seeks refuge through medication and whiskey while suppressing the circumstances surrounding him. After meeting Sarah and discussing the emotional upsets they both battle, he revisits the final episode of his career, finding a message from his deceased wife, that forces him to overcome his depression, and become the hero he always was and help Sarah do the same. |
