In pursuit of an eclipse, the citizens of Winnipeg flee the city. Meanwhile, stranded in the Tudor Village apartment complex, the caretaker does his best to interrupt their trajectory and entice everyone to return. Tudor Village acts as a trope for both Winnipeg and the creative process behind the film - that being a constant act of revisiting a place to excavate that which is left behind in the shadows. The approach to making this film was to construct it as a collage, and assemble narrative from the images derived from the layers. |
