A postman (bt) from the city gets transferred to a fishing village. On his route, one afternoon, he comes across a particular house where only a mother and a daughter reside. He delivers, what turns out to be, divorce papers (petition) The mother (seoul-daek), a widow, is an old fastidious character that was secretly diagnosed with a sickness. She also happens to own a large piece of land, which grabs the attention of Byung-tae, the postman. Her daughter (Eun-shi), an odd character, bridges her sense of affection and normalcy through a red postbox that the Byung-tae delivers. With every delivery, Eun-sil and Byung-tae’s friendship strengthens. |
