Witness a week-long chain of events jumpstarted by a chance meeting in a latte bar one Monday evening. Before she returns to her homeland the following Sunday, Marilyne is bound by a promise from her friend Vanena that Marilyne must “experience” a black man before she leaves. A challenge to keep, this pact must be fulfilled within seven days… and to add further complications, Marilyne, an African in her late thirties, has never had an intimate relationship with a man of her own race, exclusively dating white men her entire life. From this conundrum, a unique reality film is born. Award-winning producer/ director Jon Marc Sandifer embarks on a mission to solicit numerous men to accompany Marilyne on a series of dates, but there’s one catch; their interaction is totally candid. Everyone is filmed behind closed doors cameras, and the results are so engaging you’ll be unable to turn away from the spectacle of a playful game of “blind date” turning into a diabolical web of lies and deceit. Who Is Richard Black? Black symbolizes Race. Richard? Well… What’s the nickname for Richard? 4 Days. 4 Dates. Unscripted. Unrehearsed. Unbelievable. |
