Betty and Joe meet at a summer vacation camp and fall in love after she hears him sing. But Joe’s friend, Jack, tells Betty’s friend, Phyllis, that Joe is really a big-time radio star. Betty,thinking he has been making fun of her, gets mad and goes back to her job in the city, plugging songs in a music store. Joe and Jack turn up, as they really make their living ballyhooing local shows from a truck, as Joe sings and Jack drives. |
