It is while sharing an apartment with a young woman from Italy and another from Japan that Carol finds herself on the last day before her visa is set to expire, forcing her to return to Cameroon just as she had left: without suitcases, without any photos and without a past. She has accomplished her mission of earning enough money to send to her family in order to provide for them. Now the time has come to join them once again. |
