Based on the famous romantic play of 1832 by Adam Mickiewicz, the film is the Eastern Europe’s response to “Twilight”… A pair of lovers - students of a Polish Acting Academy split on the Eve of the All Saints Day - the boy travels with a group of his friends to the neighbouring Lithuania for a theatre festival, the girl stays behind in Poland… Yet, a terrible accident occurs on the way to Vilnius, in which all the young students perish… Or so it seems… And then - the boy and the girl meet again… |
