Angels originates from a true story concerning the death of two young girls (aged 17 and 18) who lost their life in 2002 in a supermarket during a kamikaze attack: the Israeli Rachel Levy and the Palestinian Ayat Al Akras. This tragic episode made such an impression on the authoress of the song (Benedetta Paravia, Princess Bee Music) that she kept a copy of the newspaper and years later, in 2006, she wrote the song. The videoclip for Angels was shot on 29th of February 2008 at Dinos Studios in Cinecittà.
