The Recyclist is the story of a homeless man who has had some misfortunes to now call the sidewalks of LA home but that does not overshadow the optimism recycling, the kindness of others and a note brings to him. The Recyclist (Brad) does not let the cards he has been dealt bring him down. Brad takes care of himself and the earth by making his living from recycling. It is this common way of life that brings Rachel into his life and heart. It is not without struggle Brad pulls together a wonderful evening for both him and Rachel that is made possible by what life and the earth have made available to him.
