Christy’s Crusade is a black comedy about Christy, a fundamentalist Christian. Christy meets ‘God’ and is told by him that before she can build him an army of loyal followers, she must first convert her Atheist brother Stan. Stan retaliates against Christy’s attempts to convert him, assisted by ideas given to him when he meets ‘Nietzsche.’ The actions that Christy and Stan take against one another continue to escalate until it becomes clear that the only result of extremism is destruction. |
