A husband returns to his idyllic suburban home after a day working in the city. Over dinner he and his wife play out their domestic routine of telling each other about their day. But today is different. Today she followed him. Through sequences of memories and duplicitous voice over the audience discovers the reality beneath the surface of their domestic harmony. A choice has to be made, to break free from the lives they have built for themselves, or to self-deceive in favor of a more appealing lie.
