Details:

Black churches were instrumental in ending slavery, lynchings, and ‘Jim Crow’ segregation. The Black Church was indispensable during the Civil Rights Movement. So, when will these religious institutions advocate equal rights for gays and lesbians? This movie explores what a group of Los Angeles-area lesbians feel about their experiences with The Black Church. They also discuss what they feel the leaders of these churches, and their congregations, feel about them.
