Details:

This training film for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) deals with how pilots can survive when needing to eject out of an aircraft under less than ideal conditions. Specifically with regard to low altitude ejections, pilots can still safely do so as low as 150 feet with the proper equipment, which is standard issue within the RCAF. With this equipment, it is generally safer to eject than to stay with a disabled aircraft. As it could be a matter of life or death, the pilots must check their equipment and ensure that proper pre- and post-flight procedures are conducted. Once the ejection handle is pulled, the process following is all automated in case the pilot is injured or rendered unconscious. Confidence is the key to survival.
