A rich Greek-American returns to his native country, intending to give his daughter’s hand-in-marriage to a nobleman, although there are currently no noblemen lined up asking for her hand. A lawyer, an old friend of the father, is unable to find a prince, or any other titled gent, and drops down to the lower class to find someone to pose as a prince and court the rich girl. But the impostor’s girlfriend shows up and reveals he is not of noble birth. The impostor goes back to his sweetheart, and the father and daughter are still in pursuit of a nobleman. |
