“Au Pair” tells the story of a petulant and self-righteous teenager, Jonathan (13), and his changing relationship with his attractive nanny Valerie (20). Valerie lives in Jonathan’s house where they share a sibling-like friendship. When Jonathan’s emerging sexuality makes him discover an object of lust in Valerie he develops a manipulative possessiveness for her that veers out of control when Valerie’s love interest Andrew (21) comes over to have sex with her. “Au Pair” takes an honest look at the disturbing and mysterious power that love has over us when we experience it for the first time.
