This short film follows Jim Oakley, a newly dead high school teacher, who learns to say goodbye to his loved ones with the help of one spunky teenage girl. This young guardian angel, Maggie, explains that all humans are physically connected by strings. In life, they hold everyone together - but in death, they hold you down. So, unless Jim can cut all his ties by the end of the day, he’ll be stuck in this awkward transitional stage for good. |
