SUN LIKE STAR is the story of Zena, an American expatriate who lives in London, who has endured a tragedy and is looking for hope and meaning in the universe. She finds that, for a while, through Bob, who is also an expatriate in London, who has created his own world to avoid his problems as well. Its about people who are avoiding darkness and looking for hope and light in the universe through creating their own worlds, some times coming up against hard realities. It ends up that one of the characters, Jonny, looks to her for hope. And at the end one wonders which is better: the so-called normal world or a world that is strange and beautiful and what is real anyway? |
