A short character driven drama about the traditions of family recipes and the emotional tug of Sunday dinners. Nanna Rose has long been protective of her recipes. for her they have become a link to her past and the bridge to happier times. When her grandson Dimmie asks to video her preparing one of her “famous” recipes she’s forced to come to grips with her protective tendencies and realize that perhaps he has been shutting people out of her life. A charming ensemble piece that mixes humor and emotion into a delight amuse bouche of a film. |
