In April 2012 a story appeared in a number of newspapers about a Polish dentist who drugged her ex-husband and pulled out all of his teeth. The story turned out to be a hoax and was quietly removed, but its origin remains a mystery… Going Under is a film based on the strange events described in this news story. With his relationship going through a difficult period Peter finds himself drawn towards an uncertain affair with a colleague at work. Wracked with guilt but unable to talk to his wife Peter is trapped - until a trip to the dentist brings his inner turmoil to a horrifying conclusion. |
