LOVE! One of my most favorite movies of all time! :)

HurricaneFlameX 3 points 5 years ago. 5/5 stars.

It was really good! To me, it wasn’t all that scary, maybe a tiny bit creepy, but that’s it. I would definitely watch it again. 5/5!

Karmah 2 points 3 years ago. 5/5 stars.

I would give my eye teeth to stay in a place like that all by myself. I’d bring one of those self balancing hover things and a Segway. Boy, would that be FUN! Nobody to tell you NO!

This is a classic! Nicholson plays a great guy who’s lost his mind. It doesn’t get old! 5/5

This is my all time favorite film. Kubrick was a maniacal genius. He literally terrorized Duvall to get her to achieve the final result. The cinematography is like none other. The score is larger than life. This film, along with Kubricks other works are studied in film school. They don’t make them like this anymore. I will never grow tired of it.

The Overlook gave Kubrick the rubric for Eyes Wide Shut.

THEDEVIANTONE 1 points 1 year ago.

yes now this made the words ā€œhoney I’m homeā€ iconic and a true classic in its own rite

ThinMan 1 points 1 year ago. 4/5 stars.

ā€œHere’s Johnny!ā€ not ā€œhoney I’m homeā€.

THEDEVIANTONE 2 points 1 year ago.

actually its both to be correct the first door is im home and then the second door is here’s johnny 1ST https://youtu.be/AWKQSDRekBM 2ND DOOR https://youtu.be/WDpipB4yehk 😊😊😊😊

ThinMan 1 points 1 year ago. 4/5 stars.

Iconic is the ā€œHere’s Johnnyā€. We’ve never, ever heard anyone quote The Shining by saying, Honey I’m home. Thanks and best.

THEDEVIANTONE 2 points 1 year ago.

wow yes i know the 1sdt door if you read my comment is actually ā€œWERNDY IM HOMEā€! SO IS THAT BETTER MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO WATCH IT and to be honest i was making a joke which some people seem to have forgotten what jokes are in this mad day an age we live in with the so called politically correct in other words go get a life or a coke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

ThinMan 1 points 1 year ago. 4/5 stars.

How incredibly rude of you. Shame on you.

THEDEVIANTONE 1 points 1 year ago.

and there in a nut shell is my point and proved … in what manner or world is what i said rude hold on .. INCREDIBLY RUDE i mite add and shame on me… let me educate you this is rude let me guess you probably think you something special when in fact most people would find you pompous and down rite ridiculous just reflect on what rude is maybe a dictionary mite help you out oh don’t bother embarrass yourself by replying you already did that so run along with your so called pathetic vocabulary

Boraes 0 points 1 year ago*.

Who’s this ā€˜we’ you’re deciding to represent? Have you heard every word everyone ever spoke to another person? No? Didn’t think so. I’ve heard the line before. Not only in the classic sitcoms but knowing it from this first. Don’t project your ignorance onto others and then play the victim when you’re corrected by those who know more.
No thanks, and worst :) x

Uh, even the person you’re trying to argue on behalf of knows the line is ā€œWendy, I’m homeā€ not ā€œHoney, I’m homeā€. Weird way to flex your big bwain tbh.

ThinMan 1 points 1 year ago. 4/5 stars.

Strange to assume so much, and then further argue a point that is completely invalid. Although by demonstration you’ve shown what projection of ignorance really is. WE is me and my wife who both use this account.

A really awesome horror film; though not a loyal adaptation of the book. But, Stanley Kubrick is a legend for a reason. It’s an enjoyable horror classic. Minus the lack of source loyalty, it’s really good and scary. 5/5

R.I.P. Shelley Duvall, haven’t watched this movie in years. I will watch this movie in your honor šŸ•ŠļøšŸ•ŠļøšŸ•Šļø

Oh Wendy, that was some bad acting you did.
Movie in general was great!
