A feisty old activist, disturbed that the tooth fairy visits no one but children, sets out to correct the situation. She visits elderly people, finding that most of them have, indeed, left a tooth under the pillow (“sometimes it’s been there a long time…”). At each bed, she takes the tooth, and leaves a nickel. But one old fellow wakes up and complains…. |
