Three men enter an isolated workshop that contains enough supplies for a long hold out. Two of the men stay behind under strict instruction from their livid boss to stay put and wait for his return. The dangerous Tom begins taunting his larger but slower partner Garvey about the crime. When one dies on the second day, the other decides to obey orders and wait. But when the taunts begin again a descent into madness soon follows. Hold Out is as genre jumping psychological thriller that explores themes of madness and guilt made manifest. |
