In 1985, Enid Baines works for the British Board of Film Classification during the height of the Video Nasty controversy. Enid’s co-workers call her “Little Miss Perfect” due to her strictness in recommending that violent content be cut or banned. While Enid is having dinner with her parents, they discuss the disappearance of Enid’s sister Nina when the two were little. Enid’s parents have since declared Nina legally dead, but Enid is convinced that her sister is still missing. |

= Low Quality | = Medium Quality | = High Quality | How do I watch these? |
I am watching this foe Niamh on first go. She has risen so swiftly in last few months. raised By wolves, Wrath Of man and now this. Liked her role in RBW.
Beginning was bit boring, but once the story develops it becomes interesting and unique. It’s not a B movie, but it does intentionally use B movie qualities since her story is basically a B movie.
cam picture is not terrible… pretty good job of getting the screen… can’t hear the sound on these headphones.. it’s loud enough, but something about the camera mic ruins the enunciation… ymmv (oh, and it has those ‘slots/casino’ ads)
…now that we have a DVD copy, i thought it was interesting. this movie is a trip… imo… ymmv
(in its own way, this movie might actually be brilliant)
Seems like it is trying for a Tarantino type feel. Intentional B movie style.
It was set in 80’s UK during the moral panic of the “Video Nasties” era and captured that quite well. As such, it was styled like a film from that era (and did so successfully) - and yes, with a touch of the “B”.
Definitely not seeing any Tarantino vibes here though. Nobody was randomly talking about totally unrelated pop-culture stuff and it (fortunately) lacked his complete self-indulgent approach to everything.
IMO it’s a good psychological horror masquarading as an 80s B-movie slasher style.

BORING! Typical slow moving British film. British can’t make a good horror film to save their life. They are all the same boring crap.
Have you seen hellraiser?
28 Days Later?
Event Horizon? How about ANY Hammer film?
