= Low Quality | = Medium Quality | = High Quality | How do I watch these? |
Nic Cage fronts a “Predator”-style martial arts sci-fi actioner, in his own quirky way! Worth a watch!
See the Official Trailer HERE.
well that was quite….. umm interesting
Why do you care about imaginary internet points?
I watched this because Marie Avgeropoulos was in it. I hope she was laughing while cashing her pay check.
There is no plot - no story and no acting. Just fake fighting for the sake of fake fighting. Don’t waste your time.
This hurt to watch
the only smart thing about that movie is putting stunt guys and martial artists next to Nicolas Cage actually makes him look like a good actor… it’s a dud. Watch real martial arts fights instead.
Don’t let the negative comments here stop you from giving this a shot, this wasn’t nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. Not blockbuster material certainly, but not that God awful bad, either. Some decent fights, reasonable plot and acting, slightly better then ‘B’ movie would be my rating of it, kind of a cross between Mortal Combat and Predator if I were to try and compare it to other movies, but not quite of the same quality. Decent one time watch, but nothing to really brag about.
Personally am a big fan of Nicolas Cage even if the acting of all characters is bad. Sometimes the message in the movie is more inportant, so I tend not let people deter me when it comes to actors I really like. Thanks for your input
Always kinda liked Cage myself as well, one of the main reasons I decided to watch this. Think he did a pretty good job with the role he played. He always does these rather well, right up his alley!
If you know that Nicolas Cage’s acting is bad, why do you like him?
Re-read the comment, he never said Cage’s acting was bad…
Is it really that serious, really? LOL Even if it is. It’s still okay.
So one thing I noticed was there was no Jiu Jitsu in a movie of the same name? Though I couldn’t make it to the end, the choreographed “martial arts” in this is atrocious. It’s Not even hilariously bad where I could keep watching.

I tried, after 37 minutes in It’s a rip of Predator in Asia, with bad fights and Nic Cage who was the reason I started to watch is not even there, he is in the first 10 seconds of the movie and perhaps later, but I didn’t have the patience to go further. For me it’s not a bad good Nic Cage movie…. so disappointed
i couldn’t even watch 15 minutes in. what a waste of time…and money. Cage should be embarrassed. stupid.
From the comicbook, Jiu Jitsu. The inbetween scenes that are supposed to lead you from one frame to another look like pages from a comic book. Kind of cool when you get it. Assasins Creed feel to it. I don’t know what kind of fighting style they are using in the movie - everybody says its not jiu jitsu - but it is highy entertaining. More ninja-like. Has Eddie Steeples in it too from My Name is Earl. He’s funny. I liked the movie, would watch it again but that’s me lol. 3.5/5 Enjoy!

“Oh No” …. What was Director Logothetis (who also did Kickboxer) and Cage thinking.
Horrid Script from the start and with added HORRID directing from Logothetis it left Nick, Marie, Frank and Tony involved in nothing short of low budgeted quality film.
Dang, major disappointment that Nick Cage, Tony Jaa and Frank Grillo signed on to this!!!!!!!
It would have been a much better 45 minute TV show or Youtube mini movie. Tony Jaa should have been the lead character and the ending didn’t add up with what they said they were trying to do. Too long and the money spent on too many bigger names would have been well spent on production. IMHO anyway.
