Faithful Island gives an in depth look at a 40 year tradition that has spanned for close to three generations, the Cruz family from Guam and a small group of parishioners from Our Lady of the Waters, coordinate a trek up Mt Lam Lam in observance of Good Friday. Thousands of people participate in this event, a symbolic gesture for what Jesus suffered moments before he was crucified. Faithful Island also focuses on the 350 year history of the Catholic Church on Guam, from the establishment of the first Catholic Church, to building the Cathedral from the ashes of World War II and the importance this tiny island is to the Vatican.
