Siren Syndrome is set in a world where there are no women. In this world the only female presence are androids created by men, for men: they play menial, objectifying roles, their only purpose being to please. The story follows one man’s increasing obsession with a particular android, leased to him from a large, multinational corporation. Risking social rejection, tormented by his own guilt and scorned by the object of his affections, his obsession becomes increasingly intense until he risks everything to get what he wants. |
