With the help of a friend, a grieving man struggles to find comfort outside of himself. Cogitat Ergo Sum explores the mind of a man coping with a great loss, the comfort people are compelled to seek out no matter the cost, and how sometimes the only way to truly heal is to let that comfort go. These issues are explored in a style that blends the surreal drama of David Lynch with the deft whimsy of Wes Anderson, creating a wholly original and mesmerizing film. |
