They were children when they went to war and now, as they slip into old age, many of the American servicemen of the Vietnam War are discovering that the government that they so valiantly defended has no record of their sacrifice. They are the grandfathers with no war medals to show their grandchildren, the old men trapped in the terrors of their own minds, the dyeing with nothing to leave behind for their loved ones. This documentary tells their stories and may be the only recognition of their sacrifice they will ever get. |
